christmas is done. santa brought my doggie some new toys. wish i'd had a camera cuz she was just so funny! couldn't make up her mind which to play with first so she tried playing with all 8 at once.

a freind sent me this, i thought it was cute so i'm sharing.

two little boys ages 8 and 10 were excesivly mischievous.
they were always getting into trouble and their parents knew about it

if any mischief occured in their town, the two boys were probably involved.

the boys' mother heard that a preacher in town had been successful in disciplining children.
so she asked if he would speak with her boys.

the preacher aggreed but he asked to see them individually.
so the mother sent the 8 year old in the morning with the older boy to see the preacher in the afternoon.
the preacher, a huge man with a booming voice sat the younger boy down and asked him sternly, DO you know where God is son ?!
the boys mouth dropped open but he made no response, sitting there wide-eyed with his mouth hanging open

so the preacher repeted the question in an even steaner voice...WHERE IS GOD!??
again the boy made no attempt to answer.
the preacher raised her voice even more and shook his finger in the boys face and bellowed,
WHERE IS GOD!!

the boy screamed and bolted from the room, ran directly home, dove into his closet and slamed the door behind him.
when his older brother found him there, he asked"what happened"?
the younger brother gasping for breath replied, "we are in BIG trouble this time! God is missing and they think WE did it!!"

Oh the weather outside is frightful

Hello everyone!

Well it's getting close to Santa's day..(hehe). I'm not sure why but I'm into Christmas in a big way this year. I put my tree up on Thanksgiving and have had my Christmas cd's playing so much I may wear them out before Christmas.
I've had my sewing machine going over time making little mittens and bows to hang on my tree. I also made christmas stockings for my doggie and kitty.
The weather is strange, we had snow for like 4 days but now it's warmer and drizzling. I hope this doesn't freeze!

I'm thinking of having a family reunion next summer, so if anyone in my family has any ideas etc send me an email.

Hello! And welcome to my blog.

I figured that since my family is scattered around the country I'd start this blog as a way for us all to keep in touch.

It's only December 6 and we are already knee deep in snow! I'm sick of winter already.
I like snow only on December 24 and 25.

My little grandkids are not so little anymore. They grow up so fast. I wonder what they are going to ask from Santa for Christmas. With so many toy recalls, I am not sure if grandma should buy any toys this year.
